Privacy policy

Updated: 5 November 2026

1. Contact and scope

This policy explains how professional information and personal data are used in the Digitalmarketer.lt directory. The site operator and data controller is Swarnadeep Das. Send questions and requests to info@digitalmarketer.lt. Company information may not be personal data, but a freelancer’s name and other information relating to an individual are subject to data protection rules.

2. Information we use

A profile contains the agency or specialist name, professional description, service category, location, publicly stated budget where known, and a website link. Administrative records include the information source, submission date and publication status. Do not submit identity numbers, documents, private addresses or information unrelated to professional services.

3. Public sources and submissions

Editorial research uses only publicly accessible provider websites and public professional sources. Visitors can also submit profile information directly. Descriptions are summarised in our own words. Public availability does not provide unrestricted permission to reuse personal data or copy content. We do not use private accounts, private messages or leaked data to populate the directory.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We use information for provider discovery, moderation, accuracy and security. Publication of personal data voluntarily supplied through the form is based on the submitter’s consent, which can be withdrawn by email. For public professional information that constitutes personal data, we assess the legitimate interest in providing a useful directory against necessity and individual rights; you can object to this use. Anti-spam processing supports site security. A public source does not remove the need for a lawful basis or, where applicable, individual notice.

5. Automation and approval

Automated tools, including AI, may help discover sources and draft descriptions. A new profile becomes public only after administrator approval. Approval is not a quality certificate, verification of representation or an endorsement of the directory by the provider. We do not make significant decisions about individuals solely through automated processing.

6. Who can access information

Approved profiles are public and may be indexed by search engines. Pending profiles and internal reports are not displayed publicly. The site uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure; technical providers support storage and transmission. Their own terms also apply to their processing. Contact the controller for details of processors and, where applicable, transfers outside the EEA and safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

7. Retention and security

Profiles are retained while needed for an up-to-date directory, moderation or a legitimate request. We remove or restrict a listing in response to a justified removal request; necessary records may be retained for legal obligations or claims. Profiles do not have an automatic expiry date, so their continued relevance is reviewed during administration. Management access is restricted to the administrator account, and connections use HTTPS.

8. Technical data, cookies and language preference

To limit submission frequency, the server processes the IP address and derives a hash from it and a time interval. The rate-limit table does not store the original IP address. These short-lived entries expire and are cleared when later submissions are processed. Infrastructure providers may separately maintain connection and security logs.

The directory application has no advertising trackers or marketing analytics. The platform may use essential authentication or security cookies. Visitors do not need an account. A first-party site_lang cookie remembers a visitor-selected Lithuanian or English interface for up to one year. You can change the language at any time or delete the cookie in your browser.

9. Corrections, removal and your rights

To leave the directory, correct an error or ask about a source, email info@digitalmarketer.lt. Include the profile name or website and the action you want. Removal requests are free. We may request proportionate evidence of your connection to a profile to protect other people’s rights.

Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to processing and, where applicable, receive portable data. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing. We respond within applicable GDPR deadlines, normally one month. We do not directly control search engine caches or third-party copies. You can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate or a court.

10. Policy changes

Updated versions appear here with a revision date. Material changes to data processing are communicated as required by applicable law.
